Arriving as part of the A.P.C. x Brain Dead collaborative collection for autumn/winter ‘19, these colourful Techno Shoes have been crafted from a selection of premium materials for a deluxe finish and a high level of comfort for everyday wear. The uppers are layered with a reflective technical synthetic material encased by shaped panels of blue, yellow and grey toned suede whilst around the back of the heel a lilac coloured leather insert has been added. The top layer of the tongue is made from the same reflective synthetic material with a woven jacquard label sewn around the top edge, bearing a collaborative logo design. For a secure fit, monochromed braided laces flow through plastic loops secured by blue coloured nylon ties. Colour matched ventilation eyelets have been inserted into the inner side panels of either shoe and breathable mesh has been selected for the lining, underside of the tongue and sockliner for all day comfort. At the back of the heel a branded nylon loop has been attached for ease of entry. For a high level of grip across a variety of terrains, the thick white midsole has a textured pattern that matches the black outside tread pattern with slim stripes angled in different directions. An additional set of plain light grey laces arrive with each pair.

For autumn/winter ‘19 Paris based A.P.C. have teamed up with Los Angeles streetwear brand Brain Dead for a collaborative range of unisex designs that reflect characteristics from either company, resulting in playful apparel and footwear all made using premium fabrics and construction methods. Known for their elevated everyday basics, the capsule is an unexpected project from A.P.C. that hints at the future of the brand being more experimental with streetwear inspired projects.
